An economical advent calendar for the stomach and the wallet. This is the challenge that Vincent Petit, a young actor from Rouen nearing the end of the year, with instead chocolate, a mini-series. From December 1 to 24, he unveils every evening at 5 p.m., on Youtube and Instagram, an episode of his mini-series “Impulsif” of two minutes maximum. The scenario: Vincent, a bit impulsive, goes to his psychologist and delivers his thoughts, memories, anxieties and obsessions.
“It started from a sleepless night where I didn’t sleep, says Vincent Petit. I thought it would be nice to get a project done quickly so overnight I wrote several episodes and imagined the character. Usually I write more story in platter writing and I was interested to see how fast you can write. “
“The idea is to get in touch with the public”
This project is therefore a challenge for the young actor, fresh out of the Rouen conservatory. For the realization, it was necessary to make with the means at hand. His room serves as a film set. For the decoration, an armchair, a plant and a frame on the wall allow reconstitute the cabinet of a psychologist.
“When we are young we are often told that the first project will never come out and so the idea was to get in touch with the public. With social networks, it’s still a little easier because with the theater, you have to find the venue, meet people, etc. We are always a little stopped, we have the plays almost finished and then in fact, we cannot show them. “
