The organizer even promises a table among “one of the most distinguished in the history of the Tournament”, after the announcement of the participating players, this Tuesday, April 19.

On the clay courts of Cauderan, from April 9 to 15, will meet five players who are among the top 100 in the world. The seeded number 1 will be the Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (59th in the world), selected with the France Davis Cup team in March. Other Blue, Hugo Gaston (64th) darling of the Parisian public after his performances at Roland-Garros in 2020 and at Bercy last year, will also be there.

The Australian James Duckworth (74th), the Spaniard Carlos Taberner (94th) are the other members of the Top 100 present in Bordeaux, with Richard Gasquet (82nd) ​​who won the Bordeaux tournament in 2010. Another former winner is present, Lucas Pouille, the defending champion, who lifted the trophy in 2019, has since fallen to 157th place in the world.
