With “Face to face”, the MEP presents the work of young photographer Pamela Tulizo on Congolese women

The Parisian exhibition brings together the series “Double identity” (2019) and “Enfer Paradisiac” (2021).

face to faceexhibition visible until March 13, 2022 at the European House of Photography (MEP), allows you to discover the work of Pamela Tulizo, born in 1994 in Goma in the North Kivu region, an area torn apart by years of war. civilian in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

First trained in journalism, the young woman decided to turn to photography, an exclusively male field but which would allow her greater freedom of expression. In 2019, graduated from the Market Photo Workshop in Johannesburg, she directs her work towards social issues mainly related to the identity of women.

In 2020, she receives for her series Double identity the Dior Prize for Photography and Visual Arts for young talents.
