“At the same time” is released in theaters on Wednesday April 6. The film by Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine features two opposing mayors who are forcibly glued to each other.

The scenario ofAt the same time is not trivial. Two mayors, with radically opposed political ideas, find themselves glued together by a feminist activist. This forced cohabitation between the two men then gives rise to many surprises. The two main roles, Vincent Macaigne and Jonathan Cohen, have fun caricaturing elected officials. The comedy spares no political edge.

The tenth feature film by Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine will be released in cinemas on Wednesday April 6. The duo continues to film France from the countryside and the outskirts. For the previews of the film, elected officials from different municipalities were invited. “I know a right-wing mayor, a left-wing mayor and an eco-friendly mayor, all three laughed like crazy. (…) They also recognized their local issues, because it’s not just dependent”assures Benoît Delépine, co-director.
