“With all the problems I had in my heart…, you shoot yourself”, Benjamin Castaldi is frank about his many financial struggles!

It’s a return that C8 viewers have been impatiently awaiting. Monday September 4, 2023, schoolchildren, high school students and college students in France were not the only ones to resume their good habits by leaving their long summer vacation behind them. The band of Do not touch My TV has indeed returned to the screen with a number of new recruits.

And for good reason, many personalities have been recruited by “Baba” to join the gang this 2023-2024 season! Evelyne Thomas, Pascal de la Tour du Pin, Alex Goude, Ninon Dechavanne, Marion Marimoutou (Miss Réunion 2022) but also Moundir are therefore the new colleagues of Gilles Verdez, Valérie Benaïm, Raymond and even Géraldine Maillet.

Newbies who come to occupy the empty seats left by former emblematic talk show columnists like Matthieu Delormeau or even Benjamin Castaldi who made the decision to permanently leave the program hosted by Cyril Hanouna.

A departure on which the former presenter of Secret Story recently returned. Guest of the show Le Figaro At Night,

to be discovered in full this Friday evening from 10 p.m. on the Figaro website, Benjamin Castaldi has indeed mentioned one of the reasons which pushed him to slam the door of TPMP, “without discomfort or anger”he specifies.

“Either you shoot yourself in the head…”

“The jokes about money didn’t make me laugh because in 2010, I found myself really in trouble. I’m in the process of getting out of all this trouble. Justice is finally recognizing the fraud of which I was a victim”he told journalist Thibaut Gauthier. “With all the problems I had in my ass, luckily I managed to sleep. There are two solutions in this situation: either you shoot yourself in the head, or you face it. It was so serious that happened to me. We laughed about it a lot, but it wasn’t funny at all.”

As a reminder, last June, Benjamin Castaldi made similar confidences during his time on the set of Buzz TV : “I had difficulty expressing myself on current affairs and social issues because that’s not me. I wasn’t comfortable and I no longer had my place. I couldn’t limit myself to gossip about my debt or my ex-wives… I was going in circles.”
