Julie-Albertine studied cinema in France, then at the University of Brooklyn and at the FEMIS screenplay workshop.
She does stand-up in Parisian comedy clubs for several years (Barbes Comedy Club, Paname, Fridge…) and toured for several shows (Soixante 2, Paname Comedy Club, Teva Comedy Show), she is also screenwriter for television (You Women, Red Bracelets, Mixed…).
Julie Albertine makes people laugh when talking about her and she has practice: with her family, her shrink, the neighbour’s cat. Suddenly, she launched into the Stand-Up!
The subject is life, the one where we exist, the one we sometimes try to avoidbut especially the one where we drink shots, eat fatty things, dance on Beyonce and where we talk a lot about the weather.
