France Inter remains first in the Médiamétrie ranking for September-October 2021, with a cumulative audience down slightly to 11.9%.

With 4,909,000 listeners every day, franceinfo has its best audience for 16 years on a wave of re-entry (September-October), according to the Médiamétrie study on radio audiences published Thursday, November 18. With 9% of cumulative audience, up 0.2 point, the Radio France group channel thus consolidates its position as the third most listened to radio station in France by gaining 93,000 listeners in one year, 647,000 in two years.
“In a media landscape where public opinion tends to take precedence over information, franceinfo asserts itself more than ever as an impartial radio station, delivering reliable information that meets the expectations of listeners in search of high standards and quality “, explains Jean-Philippe Baille, the director of franceinfo.
The number one radio station in the country remains France Inter with an 11.9% cumulative audience, down 0.6 points. RTL remains second (−0.4 point to 10.7%). Franceinfo is therefore third in front of NRJ (–0.8 point to 8.4%) and France Bleu (–0.1 point to 6.2%). Lower in the ranking, Europe 1 lost 0.5 point over one year to 4.4%.
Médiamétrie’s “Radio Hearing Study” survey is based on 21,133 people surveyed for the listening period from Monday to Friday, carried out between August 30 and October 31, 2021 among the population aged 13 and over, representative of the French population.
