Winter storm: 15 centimeters of snow and ice on the roads

Quebecers will have to take out their shovels to clear snow, while a first snowstorm left 15 to 20 centimeters of accumulations in most areas of the province.

The weather cocktail will bring 2 to 4 centimeters of freezing rain Monday morning, which will complicate traffic during rush hour, especially in Montreal, Laval and Montérégie.

Environment Canada is warning that pavements and sidewalks could become icy and slippery due to the ice storm that will turn to rain later in the day, due to above seasonal normal temperatures.
