(Winnipeg) The Winnipeg Jets announced Monday that they have signed restricted free agent Cole Perfetti.
The 22-year-old forward signed a two-year deal that will pay him $3.25 million annually.
In 71 games last season with the Jets, Perfetti scored 38 points, including 19 goals. He also had a plus-minus of +13.
Selected at 10e Drafted by Manitoba in the 2020 draft, Perfetti has 29 goals and 46 assists for 75 points in 140 National Hockey League games.
On the international stage, the Ontarian won the gold medal with Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship in 2021. He had six points, including two goals, in seven games.
