The second part of the adventures of the Crawley family will be released on April 27 at the cinema. The opportunity for France Bleu, partner of the film, to invite you on a journey in the footsteps of your favorite heroes.
Multi-awarded and acclaimed by critics and viewers, Downton Abbey is one of the most significant series of recent years. It plunges the spectators back into the meanders of the Crawley family and their servants. Between amorous destinies and the decline of the English aristocracy, the series follows the adventures of a host of characters in an epic that takes root in 1912, with the sinking of the Titanic to end in the heart of the 1920s.
6 seasons and 52 episodes later, the series crosses the contours of the small screen and offers a breathtakingly beautiful first film in which the Crawley family finds themselves rubbing shoulders with the King of England. On April 27, the team transforms the trial and unveils a second part “A new era” in partnership with France Bleu. The same recipes are back: love, intrigue and commentary on society, all while offering a detour to the French sides with, in the cast, Jonathan Zaccaï and Nathalie Baye!
To celebrate this outing, France Bleu offers you your stay on the English Riviera. On the program the green English countryside, the jagged coasts of Cornwall and Devon, strewn with small fishing ports and superb historical and cultural sites: Highclere Castle, emblematic castle of the Crawley family in the series, Stonehenge or Salisbury Cathedral .
