The Abbaye de la Bussière is a former Cistercian Abbey founded in 1131 in the Ouche valley between Dijon and Beaune, today a Relais & Châteaux hotel with 20 rooms and suites.
A magnificent 7-hectare park and its lake give way to daydreaming and gentle walks….
The terrace with a view of the park also allows you to take one of the sumptuous Sunday brunches and enjoy the calm of the leagues.
Restaurant ….
Restaurant 1131 has been starred in the Michelin guide since 2007.
The restaurant Le 1131 welcomes you between cross-ribbed vaults, arcades and columns, all illuminated by the play of rays of sunlight through the high stained glass windows.
The Head Chef is Francois Pelletier who has 20 years of experience in beautiful starred establishments such as the Espadon at the Ritz hotel in Paris, the Presidency of the Republic, Guy Savoy, Le Floris in Switzerland. He orchestrates the 2 restaurants of the Abbey: the 1131 a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, and the Bistro of the Monks installed in the old kitchen of the monks, greedy and convivial….
child of the country, Francois Pelletier passionately loves the Burgundian terroir of which he knows villages and landscapes, markets and producers. From these walks and encounters, he brings back tastes and flavors through products of high quality and in season….
His perfectly prepared plates rival each other in finesse and flavors….
