In the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, Cauterets offers two ski areas. Both a spa resort and a winter sports resort, Cauterets is the ideal place for family holidays.
The Cirque de Lys, for downhill skiing
With particularly high natural snow cover, thanks in particular to its particularly favorable exposure, the resort has 36 km of slopes which extend over more than 700 hectares between the arrival station and the top of the Brèche chairlift, the highest point of the station has more than 2415 m of altitude.
At the foot of the Cirque du Lys, beginners will be able to evolve in a vast area entirely dedicated to them, with gentle slopes and mats.
Steep slope enthusiasts will have the choice between red runs and two black runs or the Cirque du Lys Freestyle Park, an area specially dedicated to freestylers where they can try out different custom-shaped modules.
The Spain bridge, for Nordic activities
The Pont d’Espagne area is devoted to Nordic activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc., all while evolving in a wild and preserved setting.
