La Coupole, History Center and its new 3D Planetarium
The dome, built by the Todt organization in 1943/1944 is one of the most monumental witnesses of the Second World War. A 55,000 ton concrete dome protects what was to be a V2 launch base. Today, it houses an astonishing museum on the North of France in the war as well as the history of the conquest of space which begins with Hitler’s secret weapons, manufactured by deportees in the concentration camp of Dora in Germany. The Nazi engineers picked up by the Allies in 1945 then developed the space programs up to the first steps of man on the moon.
The dome, it’s also a brand new 10k-3D Planetarium. At the heart of completely redesigned equipment, discover space like you’ve never seen it before thanks to technology that is unique in the world!
From Sunday January 30 to Saturday February 5, 2022, win your invitations by participating in the draw.
