What could the first clown in all of human history look like? What language was he speaking in? With what gestures? The main protagonist, the artist Caroline Obin also known by her stage name, Proserpine asked herself all her questions and wanted to answer them with humor.
In this show that she imagined and staged, she summons for us “the clown being” in its primitive state. It is above all the desire to rediscover a “primary” language in its purest and undoubtedly most irresistible dimension, which drives the director.
A troupe of seven artists, seven clowns inspired by a poetic, wild and funny force. Both monstrous and endearing, this troupe sparked the first sparks for us, those from which the first bursts of laughter were born.
