What will be the political colour of the future government that should be formed by the end of next week? Michel Barnier, the tenant of Matignon, is struggling to seduce the left. The left which is united and promises to censor him.
There are only a few days left before the appointment of the future ministers. Michel Barnier persists and signs: his government will not be composed only of right-wing personalities. “I will form the government next week, with serious ministers. It will be balanced and representative, plural. Everyone will have their place.”he assured. However, the left is not rushing to his door.
Bernard Cazeneuve, former Prime Minister, Karim Bouamrane, the mayor (PS) of Saint-Ouen and Carole Delga, the president of the Regions of France have already ruled out the idea of entering the government. François Hollande himself is adding another layer. The former President of the Republic does not see how socialists could agree to become ministers.
