Senators committed to yes
Like Gérard Larcher, President of the Senate, others refuse to deny their convictions. “I don’t let myself be impressed. I will vote against”, says a Republican. Among the senators, some are committed to yes. Republicans are pleading to rewrite the text with new amendments. If they were adopted, they would have to go through the Assembly again. In this case, the vote planned in Congress for Monday March 4 will be postponed to an indefinite date. For its part, the left will vote to counter anti-abortionists.
