The terrorist attack on Friday March 22 in a concert hall near Moscow (Russia) was claimed by the Islamic State. Vladimir Putin made no mention of it in his speech, but shortly afterward, the terrorist group released a video that appears to have been shot during the attack.
The investigation is progressing and we now know a little more about the background and motivations of the suspected terrorists in the attack on a concert hall on Friday near Moscow (Russia). The police filmed their arrest on Saturday. One of the suspects is violently beaten and then tortured. Suspects say they were contacted to kill people for a reward of the equivalent of 5,000 euros.
Eleven suspects will be tried
For the third time, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on the night of Saturday March 23 to Sunday March 24, publishing a video showing the terrorists filming themselves during the attack. Vladimir Putin insinuates that Ukraine is involved in this attack. Volodymyr Zelensky strongly disputes these accusations. The eleven suspects arrested by the Russian authorities were taken to the Moscow Courthouse where they should be tried for terrorist acts as soon as possible.
