Will Jean-Pierre Foucault continue to present Miss France this year? “Envy has left me”

Jean-Pierre Foucault is undoubtedly one of the most popular animators in the French audiovisual landscape. However, the one who hosted the game “Who wants to be a millionaire” is becoming increasingly rare on the first channel… Something to worry TF1 viewers who are already wondering if the 74-year-old man will host the Miss France 2023 contest next December.

And for good reason, it is the septuagenarian who has hosted this unmissable evening since 1995, that is for more than 25 years! Asked about the airwaves of Europe 1 Sunday July 31, 2022, Jean-Pierre Foucault therefore referred to his gradual withdrawal from the antenna!

“I practically stopped television, I have the Miss and the French games, but the desire left me”he confided… May the fans of the beauty contest be reassured, despite a loss of enthusiasm, Jean-Pierre Foucault will therefore indeed be the one who will animate Miss France 2023!

“I will make the decision myself”

Remember, a year ago, as the Miss France competition approached, viewers were already wondering if Jean-Pierre Foucault intended to bow out as the competition approached. “It’s been said for years that this is my last. He’s still there, the old man, he joked. I will be there again this year”he explained to RTL.

And to add: ” Do not worry. I’ll make the decision myself when it’s time to make it! As long as I can do my job, I will do it”. This is something to reassure us!
