The Frenchman could not cope with the Norwegian world record holder, who clearly dominated the competition on Friday evening in Munich.

41st medal for the French delegation at the European Championships in Munich, the fifth in athletics. Wilfried Happio took second place in the 400 meter hurdles final (in 48”56) on Friday August 19th. After his fourth place at the world championships in Eugene, the Frenchman finally holds his first international medal.
