A 23-year-old man, wanted last month in Montreal for a “savage and gratuitous” assault in downtown, has turned himself over to the police.
Brayden Delisle was scheduled to appear at the Montreal courthouse on Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault.
He himself had gone to a neighborhood police station the day before to have him arrested.
Last week, the SPVM asked the population for help to find him.
Delisle allegedly assaulted a man on the evening of October 8. The assault had been so brutal that the victim ended up in intensive care.
The SPVM had qualified this assault as “savage and gratuitous”.
