Doctor consultations, medical tests and prescribed medications will cost more from March 31. For a box of prescribed medication, the patient paid 50 cents, it will now be one euro. If for for some, this is not a problem, for other customers in a pharmacy, “we are a little scraping the bottom of the drawers, we should rather review the healthcare system overall”. Remaining costs doubled among doctors
In order not to penalize people using regular treatments, the ceiling of the deductible remains set at 50 euros. Once this amount is exceeded, the patient is fully reimbursed. The remainder also doubles for consultations with the doctor, analyzes, two euros instead of one. The excess on medical transport increases from two to four euros. All these measures will save Social Security 800 million euros.
