Why students should write in cursive

Writing in loose letters is not harmless. The student does not learn to connect the letters of a word, to synthesize them. On the contrary, the cursive letters allow him to unify the idea he has of this word, focusing his thoughts on the message he intends to deliver. Writing in separate letters fragments the student’s thoughts, slows down their expression, truncates their communication. His thinking then proceeds in leaps, he does not learn synthesis. We don’t just learn to write in a writing class, we especially learn to think. A letter is significant when it is attached to a syllable, which with others forms a word, which in turn allows with other words to build a coherent sentence.

It is surprising that the teaching skills of a Minister of Education do not allow him to exercise leadership in this area.
