On our screens for almost a week, the Star Academy has made a comeback after 15 years of absence! A comeback eagerly awaited by viewers of the first channel, the proof, during the first prime which was broadcast last Saturday, October 15 on TF1, viewers were more than 4.8 million in front of their television sets… A real record which testifies to the enthusiasm aroused by the return of this cult tele-hook!
Invited on the Chez Jordan set, producer Alexia Laroche-Joubert spoke about this new edition of Star Academy… And for good reason, the latter was the director of the 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Thus, the emblematic face of the first seasons of tele-hook was quick to let Jordan Deluxe know that she had been contacted by the production to find her role as director… A position she has against all odds refuse !
“Mathieu Vergne, who produces with Jean-Louis Blot, asked me the question, I told him ‘Already it’s nice to ask me. He said would you like to be the director?’. I told him ‘I’ll think about it’, I called him back after two or three days, I told him ‘I think it’s good that it’s someone else’. I think I knew something that interested me because I was producing it too. I wasn’t just the director, I was also a producer. It was this dual role that interested me. And I still have a lot of things to do, and it takes a lot of time,” indicated Alexia Laroche Joubert. A refusal that does not prevent the producer from taking a look at the program!
