Cough, swelling of the eyes… At ten years old, Soline Le Roux is already asthmatic because of pollens. Like her, the French suffer more and more from these allergies, which are particularly present at the moment. Almost all of France is on red alert. 82 departments are affected by these earlier, longer and increasingly earlier pollinations. According to the Ministry of Health, nearly a third of French people suffer from it.

Pollution increases pollen allergy

“What is clear is that it is the dietary changes, atmospheric pollutants with in particular automobile pollution, global warming, all of this will cause us to have an atmosphere that will increase pollen allergies”explains Dr. Nathalie Lambert, pulmonologist and pediatric allergist. The pollen should remain present throughout France until the end of July.
