Every year since 1987, the Telethon has been broadcast in December on the France Télévisions channels. The charity event organized by the Association française contre les myopathies (AFM) aims to fund research projects on genetic neuromuscular diseases. As tradition dictates, several personalities follow one another on stage for a unique concert.
This year, the event was launched this Friday, December 3, 2021 with Nagui, Sophie Davant and Soprano, who is the sponsor of this 35th edition, at the helm. From the first moments of the prime, Nagui distinguished himself with a blunder against Louane and his darling Florian Rossi. Patrick Fiori makes an incredible donation
At the start of the show, Nagui made a point of evoking the incredible donation made by Patrick Fiori for the solidarity raffle: “Patrick Fiori had the kindness and the emotion to offer his first microphone on sale for the raffle. It is the first microphone he bought to sing and do his shows. He even entrusted us to Soprano (Editor’s note: present on the set) and myself that he wanted to keep this microphone for his children as a kind of heritage” explained the host. He gives it, it’s a strong gesture on his part” he added to encourage viewers to donate for research as well.
