If he has some reservations about the idea of being in a relationship, Oli is still admiring of Medina. “When I join Médi, I know that there will be his wife, his family, etc. It’s quite amazing because often in this environment, we as young artists, we have the impression that we must make a choice between being passionate, knight of the artistic, subject to our passion and the inspiration that comes like that and you can’t build or sacrifice everything and be part of the somewhat normal, banal life, with a woman children’s home and a dog. And actually no, you can find balance, you can find someone who understands you. It gives hope.”
According to Medina, “there is this false belief to say that the life of an artist is incompatible with family life. It is less and less true. We only see what we want to see. […] For me it is the family that is central. And that’s what gives meaning to your whole career.” A nice analysis.
