Revealed to the general public with the title “Between us”, the French diva Chimène Badi sings about love with a very particular passion on stage. And in her private life, she has found all the inspiration she needs. She met her lover Julien, in 2014, through mutual friends. And they’ve been inseparable ever since, with or without a ring on their finger.
“We’re not married, cause we don’t really care about marriage“
About the one who is a physical education teacher in a private institute, she had confided in the columns of Audiencerecently : “We are not married, because we do not care a bit about marriage, it does not make us dream at all“.
And to add that more broadly, she had “no need to get married”because she is convinced of it: “Julien is the man of her life, because he is the man she can count on“.

Regarding their meeting, organized by a friend who wanted to introduce her to a “good guy”, Chimène Badi also confided to our colleagues at Gala: “I immediately liked it, I found it beautiful and charming”. To find out, she went to her workplace to “watch it from afar”and get a first impression. She was instantly good since Chimène Badi admits:“I’ve been back there several times.”
Go-getter, the star of the song has also been in his private life than in his career. And it was even her who took the first step with Julien, since she admits: “I sent him a note”. Since then, it has been a business that has run like clockwork.
She calls Julien her “fiance”
Last January, Julien made a nice surprise to Chimène, by participating in the show “The secret box”. With the help of two friends, he sang “I love her to death” by Francis Cabrel. Very moved, she had declared on the set to be “upset”. And to add: “You really gave me a very nice gift… Honestly, thank you very much”. She had introduced Julien as her “fiance“.
