why did Candice burst into tears in the middle of a concert?

It was one of the highlights of this weekend of tour of the star Academy in the North of France and Belgium. After two performances in Lille on April 4 and 5, the seven ex-academicians ended their week of performances with two concerts in Brussels, in the famous Forest National hall.

On the land of Hélèna, the young Belgian of TF1’s tele-hook, each former student was able to offer the spectators striking performances from the competition, like Pierre and Héléna, who reprized their famous duet on “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. And another notable duet is also part of the list of songs offered to the public during this tour: the one between Candice and Axel on “The Mass Effect”the song by the young singer Maëlle which evokes school bullying and which the two students had performed during the second prime of the TF1 show.

“Thank you for this strength”

A moment rich in emotions at each performance of the tour star Academy but this Sunday, April 7, the tears could not be held back by
Candice, applauded by the entire Belgian public at the end of his performance. For several minutes, the young singer was able to experience one of her first big standing ovations, before coming back to her senses to continue the show: “Come on, let’s dry the tears. Thank you for this strength, thank you for everything”, continued the former academician.

It must be said that the song chosen for the two artists particularly resonates with their respective backgrounds. During the adventure star Academyand even after leaving the castle, Candice and Axel have been on numerous occasions the target of violent attacks on social networks. A journey strewn with pitfalls which echoes the words of Maëlle’s song.

The show then continued without incident, with among others the performance of Lénie, Djébril and Héléna on “The assassination symphony”, the cult music from the Mozart musical L’Opéra Rock. The tour will continue on the roads of France, notably in Nantes, Toulouse, Clermont-Ferrand and Bordeaux in the coming days, before an event date at the Accor Hotel Arena in Paris on June 8.
