His suicide on July 10 coincides with an acceleration of the investigation into Lina’s disappearance. Samuel G. could be linked to the teenager’s disappearance. The forty-year-old was due to be tried on July 22 for violent robberies committed in August 2023. He was accused of violently assaulting a nonagenarian and holding up a convenience store, threatening to “plant” the cashier with a knife in August 2023. Formerly integrated, the man found himself involved in delinquency. He has also spent time in a psychiatric hospital.
