Monkeypox continues to spread all over the world. This virus worries the health authorities, especially since some countries have not started a vaccination campaign.
With nearly 400 cases officially detected in Switzerland, the country is one of the most affected by monkeypox. However, unlike its European neighbors, the Swiss confederation has still not approved a vaccine against the virus. In Canada, in front of the vaccination centers, the queues are crowded and made up largely of foreigners. A policy that aims to stop the chain of contamination at all costs.
Monkeypox is spreading rapidly, forcing the WHO (World Health Organization) to raise its highest level of alert. According to the organization, the number of cases recorded worldwide amounts to nearly 32,000 people. This number could still increase sharply, especially since a first case of transmission from man to dog has been reported in Paris. To date, Wednesday August 17, according to the latest WHO report, only 12 monkeypox-related deaths have been recorded.
