Like every Saturday, Matthieu Delormeau was yesterday at the helm of a new issue of “TPMP People”. As part of a debate on sexism on television, the host received Natacha Amal. The 54-year-old Belgian actress, very present on television in the 90s, especially with the series “Women of law” alongside Ingrid Chauvin, came to share her experience as an actress, without language of wood.
In the wake of his interview, Matthieu Delormeau asked his guest about the love story that she lived for two years with a prestigious international star, the singer Prince. “I knew him, he was handsome as a god, our relationship spanned two years”, she shared on the set of TPMP People. Natacha Amal then confided in the circumstances of their meeting, during a concert by the interpreter of “Purple Rain”. The actress, who was then in the audience, had been invited to join the star through a small piece of paper that had been given to her: “It was marked: ‘I would very much like to meet you after the concert. See you in such a place’ And so I met him in a small nightclub in Brussels, it was quite funny”she let go.
But while Matthieu Delormeau hinted that she had had a crazy night with Prince, Natacha Amal hastened to rectify. “Not at all, because I left him in the middle of the night. I had blocks, I said to myself ‘I’m not a groupie, a get married, go to bed there'”, she said. It took six months for them to see each other again and form a relationship. At the end of the anecdote, Matthieu Delormeau couldn’t help but ask if Prince was “a good shot”, to which Natacha Amal replied in the affirmative.
