Gaetan Charbonnier

When he is weaned from balls, as has been quite the case lately, the attacker loses his ability to shine. In Niort, he collected a third yellow card in less than ten matches, synonymous with suspension in Rodez, at the beginning of March. But when he is well found by his partners, Charbonnier can prove to be formidable. As in Grenoble, where he scored the only goal of the match. Donovan Leon

During this January-February period which will have seen AJA play six times, the goalkeeper will have kept his clean sheet three times. A little more in difficulty during the defeat against Paris FC, ‘Dono’ was also decisive, especially in Ajaccio where he saved a penalty, against Nancy with a decisive save to avoid the opposing break, or even in Niort with reassuring stops at the end of the match to preserve the three points of victory.

Absent in Grenoble for the first match of the year due to the Covid, ‘Gotcho’ the left-hander was discreet in Ajaccio then against Paris FC, before returning at the very end of the match to Guingamp. But on the last two matches of February, the medium struck the spirits. First on an equalizer oh so important for the Icaunais against Nancy with a masterful free kick full skylight just before the break.
