who are these new contract killers linked to drug trafficking?

Near a convenience store in Marseille, you can see two people in the night. All of a sudden, one of them pulls out a gun and shoots at close range. The facts date back to last March. The victim was 22 years old and did not survive. The shooter fled in a vehicle driven by an accomplice.

Another shooting broke out a few days later. This time, the victims are teenagers aged 15 and 16. Behind these murders, the police suspect a man: Mattéo F., an 18-year-old hitman.

In a terrifying video that circulated over encrypted messaging, he coldly jokes about what he calls “contracts”. “I’m going to chain contracts, bro. I’m going to shoot him. On my mother’s life, I’m chaining contracts, I’m laughing”the hooded young man bursts out laughing.

A disturbing profile

A journalist investigated Mattéo F., he describes the profile of a cynical boy who acts like a killing machine. “What is confirmed by the investigators who heard him is a kind of fascination he has for this job he does, because he claims it’s a job. A fascination for organized crime and a kind of total detachment from the acts he can commit”, explains the journalist. Since the beginning of the year, 21 violent deaths have taken place in Marseille.
