The bulk of the state budget was unveiled by the Ministry of Economy and Finance on Monday August 8. The police, justice and the Ministry of Energy Transition are seeing their budget increase, unlike Bercy.
The main lines of the state budget were unveiled by Bercy, Monday, August 8. Among the winners, the police, the armies and the justice system which obtain an increase of 6 billion euros. The Energy Transition, for its part, obtains an additional 3.3 billion euros, allocated for the insulation of buildings and aid for the acquisition of electric cars. National Education is also seeing its finances go up, with the promise that each teacher will start their career with 2,000 euros net per month.
The budget of the Ministry of the Economy and the expenses linked to the Covid will, for their part, fall. The deficit will reach 5% of the budget, without taking into account possible aid to households during the 2023 financial year to respond to the rise in energy prices. The debt will continue to grow. It now reaches 114% of the national wealth.
