Revealed to the general public by the makeover and cleaning series on Netflix “The art of storage“, Marie Kondo has launched a real movement in our interiors. And at 38, the Japanese star must herself manage an increasingly over-excited house! She had her third child, after two daughters, in 2021. And on her blog, she confesses that it involved some changes in her life.
With 3 children, she is more indulgent with herself
Naturally, Marie Kondo has learned to be a little more forgiving of herself with motherhood. She speaks in her blog Kimori about her growing family and why she got better at what she does. She previously shared how she grew up with her family and how her home cleaning and improvement methods developed.
In April 2021, she had presented the last born of her family with a nice photo on social networks. And captioned it, “It’s a boy !”. Marie is also the mother of two daughters. She met her husband Takumi Kawahara in an elevator when they were students and the couple married in 2012.
Years later, her man dropped everything to come work with his wife and manage her career. They now work together at KonMari Media Inc., which they founded in 2015. And the couple have come a long way since then. As a reminder, the couple signed a deal with Netflix in 2018 which made Takumi Kawahara the executive producer of Marie Kondo and led to the debut of “The art of storage” and its 8 episodes, (where she helps her clients bring order to their homes and joy to their lives).

“The spark of happiness” then arrived in 2021. In this last reality show of 3 episodes, Marie Kondo reveals her universe and her joyful storage tips to people who are trying to reconcile professional and private life. A hell of an adventure, which Marie Kondo now lives at five.
