Where do we put this? | A new Emma comic online

The popular French cartoonist Emma has just launched a new work that continues to explore another facet of the mental load of the condition of women.

The comics, Where do we put this? describes the division of tasks of a couple. “Taking one’s share of domestic chores is not innate. It takes time to learn, ”we can read in the comic book of the 36-year-old author. To illustrate her point, she uses statistics such as an Ipsos study in 2009 which shows that 29% of men are able to escape a household chore by hiding.

Emma is the author of several comics on the status of women such as Not so charming princes and The emotional charge and other invisible stuffpublished in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
