La Creuse has been mobilized since February 24 to help Ukrainians fleeing their country. Collection of basic necessities, financial donations, accommodation offers… Initiatives are multiplying in the department. The Limoges international emergency firefighters dispatched several humanitarian aid trucks to the border with Moldova.
Faced with the tidal wave of solidarity, the prefecture and the department of Creuse have begun to coordinate collections and offers to welcome individuals. Basic necessities (baby milk, hygienic products, blankets, duvets, flashlights) can be left at the Creuse town halls. Monetary donations are also welcome, to finance the shipment of food to the Ukrainian border. They can be sent to the Association of Humanitarian Emergency Firefighters or to the Association Creuse Corrèze Children of Ukraine.

People with an accommodation solution should contact their town hall directly. About sixty Ukrainians are due to arrive soon by bus in Creuse.
