On February 3, Pierre Garnier won season 11 of Star Academy. The day after his victory, the 21-year-old found himself at the heart of an unprecedented media buzz. Adored by a horde of fans, the man who was just a simple Norman student until recently, is already followed by nearly a million people on Instagram. In a few days, Pierre became the most followed Star Academy candidate on social networks, thus dethroning singer Jenifer.
By popular demand, Pierre didn’t wait for the release of his first album to spoil his fans with music. The song “Ceux qu’on été” which he composed himself has already been released on streaming platforms.
“Thank you everyone, it’s crazy the reception you gave to my song, I’m very happy with what’s happening, it’s incredible” he declared this Wednesday February 7, 2024 when the title was downloaded en masse. “And for those elsewhere, who are asking for the acoustic version, there’s no problem, I’m going to do one, it was planned, in not long. And it’s normal that you’re a little lost, that’s a change. But I love this version and thank you for everything you give me, frankly it’s incredible. And the acoustic version is coming very soon, no worries” he also clarified.
Pierre Garnier: his “girl” speaks on X
Among his many fans, one of them has just stood out on X (formerly Twitter) by placing herself in the position of Pierre’s alleged girlfriend. This is Héloïse, former maestro of the show Do not forget the lyrics. “POV: When you’re the girlfriend of the Star Academy winner” she said in the caption of a video in which she films herself responding to the young singer’s words. Not being Pierre’s real girlfriend who is single, she nevertheless specifies: “I’m laughing Pierre, your song is great!”.
