Vitiligo is a benign and non-contagious disease but often difficult to assume. The presenter and former windsurfing champion, Nathalie Simon, hid her hands for a long time, before revealing them in broad daylight.

For a long time, Nathalie Simon hid her hands, transformed by the disease she suffers from, vitiligo, a disease that evolves by creating white spots on the skin. Today, she waves her hands proudly. This chronic skin disease has not affected his strength or his form. It was a discussion with his daughter, Nina, that triggered his decision by reminding him that a model made the difference in his job.

A change in people’s outlook

Nathalie Simon has caused many very positive reactions on social networks by revealing her vitiligo. “That’s what I expect, is that there is a change in the way people look at those who have vitiligo and suddenly a change in the look of those who have vitiligo on themselves”she says. His camouflage was taking a long time. Today, she only uses the creams prescribed by the dermatologist and a tanning lamp recommended by her doctor.
