Around twenty young people suspected of being at the heart of drug trafficking have also been tried since yesterday for counterfeiting. They are accused of imitating the names of major brands to sell their merchandise.

Bags of “Haribuh” which are not good for adults or children because they contain drugs. In the range, investigators also found “nutellhash” or even “chitapic”. Sachets with unmistakable names, sold for two years by a company which had its own website. Like professionals, this company sold special tailor-made packaging. Not enough to make the justice system laugh, because for it, there are two major offenses: complicity in drug trafficking and counterfeiting. During the trial which opened on Tuesday October 1, there was a rare fact: 14 agri-food giants were plaintiffs, alleging damage to their image.

These diversions are becoming more and more frequent, with marketing: on videos, traffickers promote themselves on social networks, to attract ever more customers. By going through a network, the investigators came across surprising profiles, with graphic designers and printers, paid up to 5,000 euros for six months of work.
