when Moselle producers unite to be stronger

It all started in the spring of 2020, when all of France was confined due to COVID 19. Moselle producers were facing an unprecedented crisis: customers, locked up in their homes, no longer came to see them and the products were no longer sold.

With the help of the President of the Moselle Chamber of Agriculture Xavier Lerond, some of them decided to come together to create the Drive Fermier Moselle.

The idea is as follows: get together to create a website together where they can offer their products. Customers would thus only have to click to build up baskets of Moselle products, and could then pick them up at distribution points near their homes. The idea was very effective, and allowed all these producers to get through the crisis. Today, in Blue Circuit side flavors, we hear several members of this group:

-Philippe Duval, who is a cheesemaker at La Biquetterie (goat cheeses in Vaucremont),

-Étienne Carter, beekeeper at the Apiary of the Dukes of Lorraine in Sierck-les-Bains,

-Caroline Stren, from the brewery La Grenouille Assoiffée, in Saulnois,

-Roland Martin, meat producer at the Ferme de la libération, in Langatte.

-Carine, from the Les Paniers d’Pat grocery store in Mecleuves, which serves as a pick-up point.
