This Wednesday, October 26 is a special day for France Bleu Périgord, your party radio its 40 years of existence. For the occasion, a special morning between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m.reports on the key events that we covered in the Dordogne, portraits and a big France Bleu concert organized in Sarlat with Patrick Bruel. We went back to our archives to find our guestbook. It has been signed by many personalities. Here is a selection.
Jacques Chirac
Before being elected President of the Republic in 1997, Jacques Chirac came to the Dordogne in the studios of France Bleu Périgord in 1991, he was then mayor of Paris and deputy of Corrèze.
The famous cook Maïté
Maïté came to Dordogne in the summer of 1996 to taste the many specialties of Périgord. She obviously kept a good memory of the black truffle.
Francis Cabrel in 1996
The artist from Astaffort in Lot-et-Garonne came as a neighbor to France Bleu Périgord in 1996.
Sister Emmanuelle
Sister Emmanuelle, who has been nicknamed “little sister of the scavengers or little sister of the poor”, is committed to helping the poorest in Egypt in particular. She was also a writer and teacher. She came to Dordogne in April 1992.

Jacques Chirac is not the only politician to have passed through our studios. Robert Hue, at the time national secretary of the Communist Party came to Dordogne in 1995.
The designer Jacques Faizant
Jacques Faizant is a cartoonist and editorial writer for Le Figaro. He is known in particular for his “old ladies”.

Journalist Claude Villers also visited Dordogne and our studios in Périgueux. He has spent a large part of his career with our colleagues from France Inter.
