It is therefore exhilarated that Caroline again plunged into the adventure, alongside Messmer or even the ex-Miss France Vaimalama Chaves. Even if, she persists, she describes herself as “the biggest lazy girl in the world”! In the end, viewers were able to see that the tenacity of the 55-year-old columnist was there. A nice surprise that hides others… At the end of last year, Caroline Margeridon published a book entitled “Libre!” in which she revealed an incredible family secret, concerning a beautiful romance between her mother and singer Johnny Hallyday! “They were together for three years, that was long before I was born,” she told Gala magazine. A story told to him by his grandmother. And even if the antique dealer of France 2 did not know this time, she says she was “raised in the myth of Johnny”: “All the songs that Johnny Hallyday sang in the 60s and 70s, I know them by heart ”, she specifies. And to regret the bad relationship she always had with her mother until she decided never to see her again: “She was very young to assume her role as a mother. She had a passion for the game. (…) I tended to reverse the roles, to take myself for her mother”, she confessed in 2020, remembering that at the age of 22, she decided to cut off all contact: “From the day I stopped seeing her, she did everything for me to see her again, (…) I always said no. If you hurt me once, you don’t hurt me twice. I’ve always been like that.”Fortunately, Caroline is very close to her two children, Alexandre and Victoire, who fulfill her and bring her this family happiness that she has so lacking.
