Known for his clashes, sometimes very violent, rapper Booba unleashes his blows against Cyril Hanouna and sends a message to the all-powerful boss of Vivendi in the latest issue of “Complément d’investigation” broadcast on November 30, 2023.
Before, when he was invited to “Don’t touch my post”, Booba was quite a fan of Cyril Hanouna : “He was quite neutral, he didn’t play politics. And then at one point, I think he was taken over. (…) He was much more humble, he was a simple person, quite nice . Not a politician, not a thug.” At Miami where he residesthe rap star welcomed Tristan Waleckx, for an interview broadcast after a portrait titled “Cyril Hanouna, the new sponsor of the PAF”.
The rapper says he did not understand, in particular, his proximity to the influencer Magali Berdah and her company Shauna Events (whose questionable practices Booba denounced… and of which Cyril Hanouna was a shareholder). For more than a year, the rapper has been at war with the former “queen of influencers”, to the point of finding himself indicted for cyberharassment. Referred to by an allusion from the host, in “TPMP”, to “people who are far away and who act smart”, Booba says he no longer recognizes “this Cyril Hanouna from 93, semi-mafia, semi-scum, in a tracksuit… There, it’s the new Cyril Hanouna, with too much power, who knows two or three guys in the business. He doesn’t scare me, he assures. Afterwards, his whole group, his whole organization, I know that they are capable of dirty tricks”.
“He’s a bit like the guru of his show”
“I think he’s a cowardly megalomaniac who was given too much power, and he completely changed. He became arrogant, aggressive.” For the rapper, Cyril Hanouna is “become a bit of the guru of his show. We see very clearly that his columnists are at his feet, that he manipulates them, that he controls them, that they are not free in their speeches.”
How is Cyril Hanouna a symptom of our times? asks Tristan Waleckx. Answer : “For me, he is a scourge, he is a manipulator. He gives voice to people who should not even be heard, although there is freedom of expression, such as Jean Messiha or Zemmour, whom I consider to be fascists.” If Adolf Hitler or Mussolini were still alive, Booba thinks they would be invited on “TPMP”…
A message for Vincent Bolloré
What if he had a message to send to Vincent Bolloré? The owner of the C8 channel also owns the Universal Music label, Cyril Hanouna and Booba therefore share the same boss… “I would tell him to get rid of Morandini, Pascal Praud, Cyril Hanouna, and I would ask him to restore real journalism, and to stop all this charade.”
