Brits stayed in a pub for three days because of the snow. “We did karaoke, quizzes, cards, board games, ”says the manager of the establishment.
They had come to this pub to have a good evening, to listen to a parody concert by the group Oasis. But that night those Brits didn’t leave because of a snowstorm. They were stranded… for three days. “We are still all there, Monday morning. We are waiting to see when the public officials will be able to join us with a snowplow and know when people can return home”, says Nicola Townsend, manager of the “Tan Hill Inn” pub.
There was enough food and drink to go through the weekend, along with the traditional British roast, plus sausage, stuffing and pudding.
