A hammer blow in Washington (United States), and Ukraine is breathing. In the House of Representatives, elected officials wave Ukrainian flags as a sign of victory: after months of blockage, the United States votes for aid of 61 billion dollars for Ukraine, or 57 billion euros. On the front side, where Russia has taken a psychological advantage, it is a real breath of fresh air for the Ukrainians.
A real war aid
According to the text voted in Washington, American financial aid to Ukraine will allow the purchase of weapons, the training of soldiers and, in the form of a loan, economic assistance. The latter could be used to rebuild energy infrastructure destroyed by Russia in recent weeks. According to certain senior American officials, the delivery of weapons could be effective very quickly.
