The United Nations conference on biodiversity, COP15, continues for a new day of negotiations between the 196 countries represented, in Montreal, at the Palais des Congrès. Events to watch include an evening conference on solutions to the underlying causes of biodiversity decline.
The COP15 Collective is orchestrating the whole thing. The organization brings together some 80 Quebec organizations, including SNAP Quebec. Among the guests gathered today are the Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante, and the federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Steven Guilbeault.
