The United States today commemorates 10 years since the Sandy Hook shootings, the nation’s third-largest school shooting in terms of casualties.
On December 14, 2012, a 20-year-old gun collector killed his mother and then went to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, where he killed 27 people before committing suicide.
