What to watch for on Monday May 13, 2024?

The public hearings of the Coroner’s Office into the death of Raphaël André will open this Monday. This 51-year-old Indigenous man, who was homeless, died of cold in January 2021 in a chemical toilet in Montreal. The man died near a shelter which was closed overnight due to COVID-19.

The inquest, which will be chaired by coroner Stéphanie Gamache, will be held from May 13 to 24, as well as from June 3 to 14, in Longueuil.
