Former Junior Team Canada players accused of sexual assault in London
The sexual assault case involving the five 2018 Junior Team Canada players is scheduled to go to court today in London, Ontario. The City Police Department is holding a press conference this afternoon regarding its investigation into this matter.
The identity of the hockey players was revealed this week. In addition to Alex Formenton, whose name was already known, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Dillon Dube and Cal Foote were ordered to surrender to justice by the London police, in the wake of an alleged gang rape committed five and a half years earlier. Representatives for the hockey players said their clients would all plead not guilty.
